About Us

Anam Cara Day Spa & Wellness Centre is owned and managed by sisters Myrthe and Flora Wieler. Their mother, Janny, set up the business over 15 years ago as a small practice in Bantry. It has since gone from strength to strength, building an excellent reputation and increasing the range of treatments on offer while still maintaining high levels of quality.

Myrthe and Flora are both involved in the managerial side of the business but they are also very much involved in the operational side, carrying out most of the treatments themselves. Besides their work at Anam Cara, both Flora and Myrthe work as therapists at Hagal Healing Farm and as tutors for Hagal Holistic Health College.

Besides holding a diploma in Holistic Massage, all our therapists at Anam Cara have participated in ongoing training in advanced massage techniques and many hold diploma’s in other massage disciplines e.g. sports massage, hot stone massage, Indian head massage etc. This ensures that our therapists can take a holistic approach and adapt the massage treatment to the clients needs.
